Ingredients: 2 (6-ounces each) top sirloin steaks, about 1-inch thick, at roomtemperature; 2 tablespoons butter; 1/3 cup bourbon or any whiskey; 1/4 cup low sodium tamari; 1/4 cup coconut sugar; 4 tbsp TBQ Steak and Chop seasoning; 2/3 cup half and half you can also use evaporated milk or light heavy cream

Ingredients

INGREDIENTS FOR THE STEAKS

2 (6-ounces each) top sirloin steaks, about 1-inch thick, at room
temperature
2 tablespoons butter

INGREDIENTS FOR THE BOURBON SAUCE

1/3 cup bourbon or any whiskey
1/4 cup low sodium tamari
1/4 cup coconut sugar
4 tbsp TBQ Steak and Chop seasoning
2/3 cup half and half you can also use evaporated milk or light heavy cream

Directions

When ready to get started, fire up the stovetop and set your cast iron skillet over the heat
Place both steaks in the pan with the butter
Cook on one side roughly 4 minutes for a medium-done steak
Mix together the bourbon sauce by combining tamari, coconut sugar, bourbon, half & half and TBQ Steak and Chop seasoning in a mixing bowl
Add this sauce to the skillet with the steaks
Once flipping the steaks, continue to cook for 10 more minutes, or until sauce has thickened
Let steaks cook in sauce until your desired doneness and enjoy!!
